Lori's Story
Lori Earley’s Story…
Upon becoming a student of Chinese Medicine, I also became a patient. At only 31 years of age, I had already been diagnosed with clinical depression, insomnia, anxiety, and an autoimmune disease, which left me feeling fatigued, foggy, and drained. The number of prescription medications were growing by the year, and I was relying on meds for daily functioning. 5 Ways to Protect Yourself as an Empath
It is hard to know whether there were always as many empathic humans as there are walking the earth today, or whether it’s a more modern phenomenon. Whether strongly empathic tendencies are somehow connected to this age of information, the birth of the internet, and the incredible dissemination of knowledge we know now…
Autumn: A Time to Release and Let Go
Autumn is upon us as we (hopefully) usher out the scorching heat and welcome the cooler temperatures. According to Five Element Theory in Chinese Medicine, Autumn is the season associated with the element of Metal. It is a dry season, which follows the humid summer. Our bodies are microcosms of the environment around us, and so, dryness can become more problematic during this time.
