Lori's Story

Lori Earley’s Story…

Upon becoming a student of Chinese Medicine, I also became a patient. At only 31 years of age, I had already been diagnosed with clinical depression, insomnia, anxiety, and an autoimmune disease, which left me feeling fatigued, foggy, and drained. The number of prescription medications were growing by the year, and I was relying on meds for daily functioning. After my first year of school, I was able to say goodbye to 80% of the pharmaceuticals with the help of acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy. Today, I only take one prescription.

Not everyone is familiar with acupuncture and its process, and for many, it seems mysterious and unfamiliar, and even a bit scary or intimidating. Acupuncture and Natural Remedies for Endometriosis

Endometriosis is an often painful gynecological disorder in which the uterine lining (the cells of the womb) begin to proliferate outside of the womb itself, like the bowels, the abdomen, and in rare cases even the brain and lungs, which can lead to severe and sometimes fatal events. Luckily, acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary modifications, and other natural remedies can be immensely beneficial in the treatment of endometriosis.

Acupuncture and Natural Remedies for PMS

Pssst….PMS is not normal, but there are natural remedies for PMS, including acupuncture.

I recently conducted an informal poll on social media, which went out to hundreds of women, asking questions about symptoms related to their cycle. What I discovered is that 100% of women experience at least one PMS symptom during the time of their cycle. Most women (about 80%) experience some cramping, whether it was mild, moderate, or severe. About one-third experience headaches, nearly half experience breast tenderness, breast swelling, bloating, and food cravings, and nearly all admitted to moodiness. The most alarming statistic was that every woman who responded who was not a Chinese Medicine practitioner believe that there was no long-term relief, and this was their fate to suffer. (Hint: there is an answer. Read on…)

5 Benefits of Acupuncture

Regardless of where you are on your healing journey, acupuncture can be effective and beneficial, and acupuncture often shines where traditional treatments do not. It is especially effective for chronic illness and symptoms when doctors have difficulty making a clear diagnosis.

Acupuncture is also an effective tool to maintain health. Even for the healthiest, an acupuncture treatment is suggested at least 4 times per year at the changing of the seasons in order to effectively boost the immune system, calm the nervous system, and regulate hormones.

The 5 Benefits of Acupuncture (that May Surprise You)...

Mainstream Medicine vs. ‘Alternative’ Healing

The US Medical System is a vast and complex beast, riddled with as many issues of practice and politics, as the solutions, care and wellness that it provides. It’s a machine that costs the American people $3.2 trillion last year, which is more than any other nation spends on healthcare, yet Americans rank only 42nd globally in life expectancy at birth so without looking any more deeply than this, it’s already clear that something doesn’t add up.
